This organization focuses on the education and welfare of disadvantaged youngsters living in this impoverished area and surrounds. They are currently funded through the running of a sponsorship programme whereby businesses and churches in the area sponsor a child for a year. In return, they make sure that learners under their watchful eye deliver good school reports. In addition to this, attention is paid to the emotional well- being of these vulnerable children.
Kleinskool Initiative has also recently opened a crèche in the area so that working mothers have somewhere safe to leave their children while they go about the business of earning a living. Listed below are some of their pressing and ongoing needs.
